NDY ANDINO

Hi guys,
What can I say about myself... I guess the most important part is when my life began.  I was 15 yrs old when I went to a youth group looking for girls.  What I found was a lot more.  A nun and a couple of priests who totally changed my life.  They taught me how to love, how to care.  They woke me up from a long long sleep that I didn’t even know I was in.   They woke in me an awareness of God and what he has done for me.  If it wasn’t for them, I would still be only singing in the shower.
I was a club musician.  I was playing in Salsa with a girl called Helena Santiago.   We played on the same stages as Marc Anthony but I wasn’t happy.  I would play on Saturday nights till 2:00a.m. then play at church on Sunday mornings.  While that was going on, my wife Wendy and my cousin Nellie Cruz were praying for me.   I quit Helena’s band because of my own prideful self.  It was then that I woke up again for the second time in my life after a long long sleep.  I got together with my wife and cousin and formed our group.  Now we play only for God, and our main purpose is to wake people up!!!!!!  I pray God that you keep giving me your little shock treatments.   Thanks for being my Goya Coffee!!!!!!

Musical influences………..Lionel Richie, Barry Manilo, Inglebert Humperdink, Tom Jones, Wayne Newton, Peter Brady from the brady 6….  Hope I didn’t forget anybody.  Oh Yeah.  Mel Torme!!!!!!!!
Gear……..  My problem is that I am a Jack of all trades and master of none.  The only piece of gear that I am extremely proud of is my Larrivee Acoustic which I’m still paying for, but I will tell you what I have.
Electric Guitar…….  Fender Strat USA running through my line 6 POD
Acoustic……….Larrivee LV-09
 Keyboard………Kurtzweill PC88
Sax……….Kahn Alto Sax.   I bought it for $50.00 when I was 20years old and had it reconditioned.  Don’t know the model
